Brocklesby AI guide
Payment and onboarding process
Understand exactly what happens from your first enquiry to the first working automation, including approval, billing and monthly support.
What happens after you contact Brocklesby
The first step is simple. You either send a general enquiry or start the free automation audit. The audit asks about the admin that wastes time, the tools you use and the workflows that cause the most friction. The answers are sent to Brocklesby for manual review.
You do not get a rushed automated recommendation on the website. That is deliberate. A useful automation plan should be reviewed properly before anything is built, especially if it touches customer messages, quotes, payments, CRM records or internal business data.
Onboarding steps
From audit to first working system
After the audit, Brocklesby identifies the highest-ROI first workflow. That usually means the task that is repeated often, causes missed opportunities or pulls the owner into low-value admin. The first system is then scoped clearly before it is built.
The process is designed to avoid vague AI projects. You should know what is being automated, what tools are involved, where human approval is needed and what the system needs to prove before billing begins.
- Submit the audit or general enquiry
- Brocklesby reviews the process manually
- The best first automation is recommended
- The system is built and tested
- You approve it before monthly billing starts
No upfront setup cost
Brocklesby does not charge an upfront setup fee. The system is built and tested first. Monthly billing starts only once the agreed automation is working and accepted as useful for the agreed workflow.
This keeps the offer simple. If the automation does not prove useful for the agreed task, monthly billing does not begin for that system. The aim is to make the first step low-risk and commercially obvious.
How payments are taken
Once the agreed system has been accepted, recurring monthly payments are collected by Direct Debit. For a fixed monthly B2B service this is simpler than card or PayPal and means one predictable payment on the same date each month.
Common starting systems are usually around £4 to £30 per day. More complex systems, multiple automations, higher volume, deeper integrations or ongoing optimisation can cost more. The pricing should be agreed before billing starts, with the scope and monthly support clearly understood.
Monthly support and improvement
Automation is not always a one-time job. Businesses change, email patterns shift and workflows develop. Monthly support can include small improvements, rule changes, monitoring, issue fixes and adding sensible next steps once the first automation has proven useful.
The goal is a practical system that keeps working in the real world, not a fragile demo that only works on perfect examples.
Term and notice
Six months minimum, then 90 days notice.
Because there is no setup fee, the cost of scoping, building and testing a system is absorbed into the monthly price rather than charged upfront, and recovered over the term. Automation services therefore run for a minimum initial term of six months from the date you accept the system, then continue on a rolling basis with 90 days written notice on either side.
Larger builds carry a longer commitment. A custom website chatbot, a bespoke recommendation tool or a multi-workflow automation involves substantially more upfront work, so a longer minimum term may apply. It is always agreed in writing before any build starts, so you know the commitment before anything is payable.
Nothing is payable until the system meets the acceptance criteria agreed in advance and you have accepted it. See the Terms of Service for the full position.
